Resolving Problems.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Last night for some unknown reason I just couldn’t fall into a restful sleep even though we were sleeping with the bedroom window open. Finally after only attaining a number of short naps throughout the night around 6:00 this morning I went to sit in the living room. Surprisingly I was still sitting straight in the chair when Kathy came into the room just before 8:00.

Once we’d had breakfast and completed our morning reading on the computers we decided to walk the two blocks to the Shoppers Drug Mart. We needed to pick up a few items as well as some prescriptions that had been called in the other day. When we got to the pharmacy they had everything ready except the one medication Kathy can never go without. They said they would try to contact Kathy’s doctor and would let us know when the meds were ready.

We walked back to the apartment and the first thing Kathy did was call her doctor’s office. She found out her doctor is away this week but once the receptionist heard of the problem she said she’d call it in immediately. We haven’t heard from the drug store as of this writing so I’ll be back there tomorrow.

After lunch Kathy was busy dusting and vacuuming around the apartment as well as cooking and baking. I was outside working on an electrical problem on the truck. I did manage to find the problem as a circuit breaker that had failed but after replacing it on the second test the system once again shut down. It was already past 5:00 so I closed up shop for the day.
Earlier we had talked about what we’d have for supper and Kathy had suggested having salad and grilled Houlka. Using the Weber on low you put the Houlka in an aluminum pie pan so that it cooks in its own oils. Once it was ready it was served open faced on bread. It tasted great!

Tomorrow I’ll return to get Kathy’s meds and try to finish resolving the problems with the truck. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. Love the photos. Very colorful flowers. We were close to the mansion but never ventured over to it. Maybe the next time we are up in that area we will go see it.
