Down Day Thanks to Murphy.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

After Murphy pulled that fast one on us yesterday by causing a problem with the truck’s DPF neither of us slept too well last night. It was like having our balloon burst even though we’d worked at making certain all the I-s were dotted and the T-s crossed.

After having breakfast the only thing we could think of doing was our morning reading before researching alternate plans. Even though the temperature was much more comfortable outside today we didn’t feel like going anywhere. As most RVers do they always have backup plans but since we were still at home we didn’t. It did add up to a very down day thanks to Murphy.

Kathy did create a wonderful vegetable stir-fry for supper that went wonderfully with the two Sirloin steaks that I grilled on the Weber. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

Rome did not create a great empire by having meetings,

  1. I have a very foolish question to ask you was yourDiesel tank full Or was it half full
The tank on an F350 Are notorious for losing part of the pick up tube
Have them check the fuel filter and the amount of fuel in the tank
The test is very simple turn the key on wait 10 seconds and then started up if it runs fine for a few seconds and then it dies The tanks pick ups bad The remedy is fill your fuel tank and do the test over again if it runs fine there is your problem
Being an 09 they also have a fuse for the fuel pump you might want to check that as well
Other than that enjoy your day

  2. I missed yesterday's post. I went back and read it. So sorry about the truck and missing the trip with the kids. We have a 2010 Ford F-350. I am having Paul read your post so he has a heads up on this.

  3. Good luck with the repair, and make the best of your new situation. Rv'er plans are written in jello and can change at any given moment.
