Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.
After sleeping with the windows open again last night we
were both out of bed by 8:00 this morning feeling well rested. It almost felt
strange to be sitting at the computers doing our morning reading well before
9:00.
Once we’d finished that I continued working on a spreadsheet
I created listing Kathy’s medications. All the years that I’ve been setting up
her pill Doucette I always did it correctly but I didn’t know what each pill
did. Today I actually photographed each pill and added its picture next to the
name and description of its use. Now there is no doubt of what everything is for.
Shortly after lunch Kathy needed a few groceries that we
didn’t pick up at Walmart yesterday but instead of driving we
chose to walk to the nearby Metro Grocery Store. The weather was perfect
today with a gentle breeze blowing from the north keeping the high temperature
comfortable 72 F (22 C). Every grocery store chain has their own way of
displaying the products they sell so this meant we needed to search a little
more than we had planned for the items we were looking for. That also meant we
also bought a few more things than what we had originally planned on.
It wasn’t long after we walked back to the apartment that we
were enjoying some of those extra purchases in the form of supper. Kathy had
picked up a nicely roasted chicken at the deli counter that will be used to
serve us for a few more meals. The Greek pasta salad and Cole slaw that we also
bought at the deli counter didn’t last beyond supper.
Tomorrow the temp should be a little warmer and since the
grassy area behind our building stopped draining into the parking lot this
afternoon I might be able to lay around under the truck tomorrow. I’ve got a
lot more things to check off my to-do list before the end of the month. Thanks
for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.
