Hot Day Shopping and Project Purchases.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Kathy had a slightly restless night so it was no wonder when she slept until nearly 9:00 this morning. With another day being forecasted to feel close to the century mark we worked on things inside the apartment this morning.
After enjoying our lunch and washing the dishes we headed over to the Devonshire Mall on Howard Avenue. Kathy had a package she’d ordered from the Sears catalogue that needed to be picked up. Afterwards we walked around the mall looking at a number of things but only buying a single Kit-Kat chocolate bar at the Dollar Store to share as an afternoon snack at 3:00. We did walk through a number of stores and were surprised to see that most were already stocking the shelves and racks with the Fall and Winter fashions. We would have had to be here immediately after New Years in order to get our choice of the summer clothes.

Back at the apartment I grilled the last of the All-Beef Ball-Park Franks for our supper. We figured since we were each having two we wouldn’t need anything else to eat.

By 6:00 we were at our daughter Karen’s with the truck so we could go over to the local Home Hardware store. Surprisingly it cost us less than if we’d driven all the way to Home Depot. Even though it is a chain all stores are locally owned and operated. With the warm weather I was glad that I’d brought two water bottles because I drank one at the store and the other while unloading the truck at Karen’s

I’m hoping to get an early start on the project tomorrow so hopefully I’ll be finished before it gets too hot. Wednesday is supposed to far exceed today’s heat so I don’t want to be working on the project then. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

You Might Be a Redneck If

You broke all of your wedding vows during your honeymoon.

  1. At least you are keeping busy and cool, we loving it here.

  2. I don’t make it a habit to make comments on many articles, but this one deserves attention. I agree with the data you have written so eloquently here. Thank you. Furniture
