Beat The Gremlins.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Last night Kathy was the one who broke the cycle of alternately having a bad night’s sleep. We both had a so-so night’s sleep waking for a short while before falling asleep and waking again. When I opened my eyes and saw the time on the clock reading past 9:30 I practically flew out of bed. Of course movement like that was enough to rouse Kathy who’d finally gotten into a sound sleep.

We had our usual routine of watching the Weather Network while eating our breakfast. They showed today would be another cool day that would be bringing showers in later tonight. After completing our reading on the computers there seemed to be little things that would pop up to delay my going outside.

Once we had eaten lunch and washed the dishes I finally went outside to trouble shoot the problem with the mudflap light. It had worked when I tested it yesterday but when it came time for it to function last night it was a no-go. After removing the mudflap again I ended up having to replace the entire fixture. What really bothered me was the problem unit was a new fixture that I had just installed the other day. Normally I have to replace them due to corrosion but this new unit was defective inside the socket. Once that was completed I started on another lighting project on the truck. After prepping for the installation of new directional lights and taking measurements it was time to close up for the day.

While Kathy was busy cooking a nice garlic herb pasta dish with green beans for a side I was grilling a great looking Atlantic Salmon Fillet on the Weber. Unfortunately our timing is still a little off and we ended up eating our side dishes before the salmon was ready. In the end it all tasted great. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
