Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.
After having a good night’s sleep we watched the Weather
Network as we ate breakfast. They showed how our area would be pummeled by
heavy rain this afternoon. Once we’d spent the time needed to do our morning
reading on the computers it was time to get started making progress on my to-do
list.
I finished cleaning off the mudflaps on the tarp in the
living room disassembling the lights from the stainless steel trim. Somehow there
was a buildup of road dust inside the lamps as well as the corrosion on the light
terminals. That’s a strange thing to find inside of sealed light fixtures. I
replaced a couple of fixtures that were badly corroded and rewired all the
lamps as well as applying a generous coating of sealer so there’d be no further
corrosion issues.
When I brought the mudflaps out to the truck before supper there
were a few raindrops that were falling but not enough to say it rained. While enjoying a healthy supper and looking
out the balcony the sun made its first appearance in days. So I headed outside
to install the mudflaps on the truck after I’d finished eating. This is where I
get upset. The one light fixture I didn’t replace on the one mudflap is not
working and it looked to be in great shape and the other mudflap I reused the
old wires and none of the lights are working. I walked away from it for the
evening.
Our Rand McNally GPS came back from the repair shop at no
charge. Kathy immediately tested it and was very happy with the results. Thanks
for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.

You did the smart thing. After a long day, just walk away. It will be there tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteGet frustrated, and come back later, it will still be there and you will have a fresh start.
