Canada Day.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

The sound of the falling rain we heard  outside our open window really helped us to sleep soundly last night. We did sleep in slightly this morning because we had also watched a movie that ended at midnight. It didn’t take long to get back into our routine of having breakfast and finishing our coffees while doing our morning reading on the computers. 

Once we’d finished lunch we thought that we’d go for a ride just to get out of the apartment. Due to the fact that July 1^st is when Canadians celebrate Canada Day (like the July 4^th Independence Day in the US) lots of businesses were closed. After finding a couple of the places we’d planned on going to in such a state we decided on visiting the west end Walmart store in Windsor. It been quite some time since we were last there and it seems that they rearranged the store. Being a Federal holiday most people that had the day off from their jobs were out shopping so this store was really packed. This is the only Walmart that we know that located their grocery section directly in the middle of the store. Even though we’d planned on just looking around there were some in-store specials that helped us to save money on the few groceries we bought today. 

For supper I grilled a store bought pizza that we bought today on the Weber. It turned out great except that it was Taco Flavored and a bit too spicy for Kathy to eat. 

Tomorrow I’m hoping to get a few things crossed off our to-do list in preparation of our summer travels. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
