Packing Up.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

I really slept-in this morning not waking up until nearly 7:00 which meant that I didn’t have as long to wait before Kathy joined me in the dining room. I only had time to check the Weather Channel and got things ready for breakfast when she walked in.

We were sitting at the computers by 8:30 catching up on our blog reading and E-mails when shortly after 9:00 our daughter called asking if we could print some forms for her. The problem was that she wasn’t certain what time she’d see us this morning. Unfortunately that meant we couldn’t take the clothes that we had just finished gathering to the trailer until Karen showed up. She finally arrived just before noon and spent some time visiting.

We finally had our lunch after 1:00 this afternoon. I started loading the truck taking numerous trips down the stairs. Kathy was busy going through some of our food stocks that we could also bring to the trailer without the worry of it spoiling due to the cold temperatures. By the time I’d finished loading we both needed a rest to cool down.

It was nearly 4:00 by the time we arrived at the storage yard. Once the power was turned on Kathy opened the bedroom slide while I hauled the clothes and food inside. While she was putting everything away inside I was busy finding the storage containers in the basement so that I could store my tools and fasteners where they belonged.

The sun was already starting its downward descent by the time we’d closed up the trailer and left the yard. Since we hadn’t taken anything from the freezer to cook for supper we stopped in at the local Dairy Queen and each enjoyed their $6.00 meal which was more than satisfying for both of us.

Tomorrow will be a helping out day. Kathy will be helping Karen our daughter while I help our dear friend Kathie bring Ross home from the hospital. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
