Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.
Once again I was up before 6:00 this morning in an effort of
stabilizing my sleep habits. Kathy managed to sleep a little later this morning
because we again stayed up later last night so her body had to make up for the
difference.
We were finished our reading on the computers by 9:30 this
morning so Kathy went to do some reading in the living room while I got my
exercise routine in. Since I’m trying to learn how to make a few things in the
kitchen that have been Kathy’s specialty up to this point I made lunch while Kathy
gave words of encouragement and tips from the other room. She said I did a good
job but she knows her way around the spice rack that I just can’t seem to
grasp.
Just before 3:00 we were on our way out the door headed to
Legion 594 so that I could pay my yearly dues. Due to recent construction in
the area it would not be hard to get lost even if you grew up around there.
We then headed to Amherstburg as we were meeting Gerry and
Sandy Bronstein at Maria’s restaurant at 4:00 for supper. We’ve traveled
together a few times but recently that hasn’t been possible but we still like
to get together and talk about what we’re all doing. We all enjoyed our meals
and continued talking long afterwards. It was after 6:00 before we were all saying
our so longs and making plans to meet again in the spring.
We then headed over to Kevin and Melissa’s for our weekly
visit. Even our grandsons Matthew and Cameron came in to say hello to us.
Cameron just couldn’t understand why we are now in the month of December and
the ground is presently not covered by s@#w. We always have a great visit with
the kids and there’s always plenty of laughter to make it a happy occasion.
We still have plenty of things to cross off our to-do list but
they will all take time. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a
comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.
