Bugged Out and More Progress.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Sleeping with the windows only partially open last night neither of us had any problems sleeping even though the temperature dropped down to 48 F (9 C). Again we both slept in past 8:00 but Kathy more than me. It seems she picked up a bug the other day and her body was struggling to fight it. Shortly after breakfast she had to go back to bed in hopes of shaking whatever it may be.
The wild Turkeys are really getting big. There are seven of them.
For lunch a hot bowl of soup and a half a sandwich seemed to be more than filling and helped Kathy feel a bit better. Afterwards she insisted on seasoning a chicken so she could try a roaster bag that our daughter Karen gave to us and recommended we try. I finally got set up on the balcony where I was able to grind off the screws stopping me from repairing the lights on the mudflaps.

For supper Kathy heated some peas and microwaved a potato to go with the Chicken that turned out perfectly and the bake pan was clean as a whistle as all the drippings were contained in the bag. We’ll definitely be looking to find those bags for the occasions that we can’t use the Weber. Kathy had also made from scratch Whole Wheat Date and Nut muffins that were delicious.

Hopefully Kathy will be feeling better tomorrow and we’ll get more fresh air. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

Why did the thief take a bath?

  1. Hope you feel better tomorrow, Kathy. When I'm not feeling well everyone knows it and forget about making such a nice dinner. Muffins look good.
