Appointments and Visits.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Again we slept with the windows slightly ajar last night but even with all that fresh air I found myself staring at the ceiling for over an hour and a half throughout the night. By 7:30 I still managed to be out of bed and had breakfast started by the time that Kathy finally woke up.

Shortly after getting to our computers we were sharing the use of the phone one reading while the other was using the phone. First Kathy called to make her future appointments with the Healthy Heals people for both before and after our trip south this winter. Next I called the distributor of the camera equipment that would not work on the Canon lens. They were surprised but immediately offered a full refund or replacement for the faulty unit. Yesterday I’d spoken to Sheryl to see how she is doing and found out that she’s moving next week. Kathy and I spoke about helping her move so I called to offer our help but she does have everything under control and will be calling us after she’s settled in. Next I called to make an appointment to go for a visit this afternoon.

Shortly after 1:00 this afternoon Kathy and I went over to visit with Kathie and Ross who we haven’t seen since we helped retrieve his car from Goderich nearly a month ago. Ross is slowly recovering from his Heart Attack and has been listening to what his doctor has been telling him. When I told him what we have been doing he asked if I could do him a favor to fix one of his cabinets. Within minutes I had all the measurements I needed and I should be able to fix it fairly easily. When I told him of my list of things I have to do before we leave he then loaned me one of his special tools that will make my job easier.

Back at the apartment Kathy needed to have a Snap because of the new medication she is on causing her to be excessively tired. For supper we had French toast with vanilla frozen yogurt and peaches for dessert.

The weather forecast for the next week in our area is looking to be clear with moderate temperatures so tomorrow looks like we’ll be going over to clean the trailer in the storage yard but you never know because our plans are very flexible. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

Who Are You on the Chessboard of Work?

The Queen: This is a closer. This is the person they call in when things are hot. This is the person on the war council whom the King wants to hear from last before making any major moves. The Queen has not only loads of influence, but has talent as well. Queens are consummate political players who are only a heartbeat away from the corner office, and they know it. One bad whisper about you from the Queen into the King's ear and usually you can start counting the days.

  1. I am sure it gave you such a good feeling knowing you could help Ross. And I am equally sure he was very grateful for the help.
