Prep and Project Day.

Our Location today is Miami, Florida.

This morning when I got up the bedroom clock said that it was just before 7:00 so I figured that I’d just wait until Kathy woke up before making breakfast. Not knowing how long that would take I decided to play a few games on the computer to pass the time. I knew that I was supposed to change the clocks ahead to daylight savings time on Sunday but was shocked to realize that today was Sunday. It wasn’t long before I heard Kathy up and fumbling with something in the bedroom so when I went to check it out here she was already changing the clock and our watches.

After breakfast was finished we both went to the computers for our morning reading. With that out of the way I went outside and spray painted a project for Kathy by setting it on a piece of newspaper on the ground. It took numerous short blasts because of its delicate nature but it was finally done to Kathy’s satisfaction.

While it was drying I extended the Static Straps on the truck to help ease Kathy’s motion sickness. I also flushed out the holding tanks in an attempt to get a head-start on tomorrow’s departure. Kathy had busied herself making lunch so that we could run some errands this afternoon.

Our destination was a different Walmart then our last visit. This location had a large parking lot and it was difficult to find a spot to park in. All those vehicles belonged to the hordes of people that were elbow to elbow inside the store and even with all the cashiers being manned it still took nearly twenty minutes before we could pay for the few food stocks we had purchased. One thing we were surprised at was there was no fresh water dispensing machine at the Walmart so we had to find a nearby Winn Dixie where they had two machines outside the store.

Back at the trailer Kathy’s project was dry enough to assemble before I fired up the Weber to grill a couple of Salmon fillets along with some Asparagus that Kathy had already seasoned with Olive oil, salt and pepper. Of course they turned out perfect and tasted delicious.

Tomorrow we’ll be heading down Highway 1 on our way to Sugarloaf Key for the next two weeks so we can once again visit Key West. We did visit it years ago on our honeymoon.  Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
