Getting A Numb Skull.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

For the second night in a row, I slept in Bed, before moving to my Recliner due to the Pain in my Neck and Shoulders. After nearly Three Hours I was able to return to Bed because I have a more restful sleep there. The Plan was to only stay there for Two Hours, but there was a problem when I woke shortly after Four Hours. RUT RHO! I normally wake much earlier than this, even when I sleep in.

I immediately flicked open the Window Blinds as I was leaving the Bedroom. I heard a few mumbles as I tried to put together something for a breakfast snack. When I reminded Kathy of my appointment, she realized the urgency.

We arrived at the Windsor Pain Clinic with only Five Minutes to spare. There was a steady stream of patients coming from the Treatment Rooms and only a few from the Waiting Room that went before me. Exactly an Hour after my appointment time I was taken back while Kathy continued to read her book. Within Ten Minutes the Doctor was actually checking where my Cyst had been and proclaimed that it had healed up nicely. We discussed further Injections and advised treatment. I was walking out Fifteen Minutes later.

Our morning snack was long gone, so we headed to Wendy’s where we used a Coupon for a well-deserved Late Lunch. We took our time to avoid indigestion, something we had to put up with during our careers. After freshening up we headed out.

Out destination was the Zehr’s grocery store. With all the Northerly Winds our region has been getting, they had to shut the one entrance, because the Foyer was filling with Yard Waste that was blowing in. We were selective in what we purchased, finding that some products were cheaper to buy multiple smaller packages than the jumbo, Cost over Volume equals Quantity. We have also taken note that many of the things we enjoy eating, are “On Sale” come Monday when most have gone back to work.

It was surprising that we were finally headed for home during what is considered Rush Hour and there was very little traffic. Our Folding Two Wheeled Shopping Cart was straining to help us get everything upstairs. Just like when we were Fulltiming, recycling the packaging gave us much more space in the Fridge and Freezer. An Hour later, with everything put away, I had to haul both our Recycle Pails down to the Outside Bins.

We finally had the chance to see what we had not seen on the Computers this morning. Something the Doctor and I discussed, is the way my CPP Mask Harness is cutting into my Neck Muscles. He suggested going to my supplier ASAP, to see if they had anything that would stop that from happening. Since we didn’t want to go across town during Rush Hour, I went on Amazon. If what I purchased works out, I’ll be stopping at Vital-Aire soon.

We were watching the “6 o’clock Local News” when we finally shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Hawaiian Pizza with extra Pineapple. The Weather Guesser was showing we could get up to a Five Inch Accumulation tomorrow.

Around that time, I felt an itch on my head and reached to rub it. Imagine my surprise when it felt like a spot on my Scalp and Skull were Numb. Since I received Injections in that area this afternoon, I’ll be talking the Doctor in Two Weeks.

We later watched an episode of “Caught on Dash Cam” before watching “The Santa Clause 2”. You can’t get any better then that.

Just before Kathy went to Bed, my head was back to normal, thick as ever.
