I mentioned in yesterday's Blog about finding the torn pillows on Two different CPAP Masks and replacing them with a new one last night. I slept well, only rolling over a few times, but even my ability to breathe was better. The problem that still remains is that when you try to sleep for even part of a night without using your CPAP Machine, it will take another week to recover from that. I found myself constantly yawning through the rest of the day.

Strangely, I had set the Alarm before going to Bed and that normally plays with my Subconscious the entire night, not last night. The first time I turned over to look at the Clock this morning was Two Minutes before the Alarm was set to wake us up, at 8:00. As soon as I sat on the side of the Bed, Kathy immediately sat up, knowing she had a date.

We only had Breakfast Juice along with our morning Medications before heading out the door. I'd told Kathy to stay inside the rear entrance to the building, but after Ten Minutes she came out to the Car. Later we would find out that last night broke the Coldest Temperature for this date, making it down to 3 F (-16 C). It took nearly Twenty Minutes to scrape the Heavy Hoar Frost off the windows.

Using a Coupon, we stopped at Wendy's where we both had Sausage/Egg Cheese Muffins with Home Fries and Coffees for breakfast. We didn't rush but we did not have time to people watch either.

We arrived with only minutes for Kathy's Girls Day Out with not only our daughter Karen, but our granddaughter Kylla and daughter-in-law Melissa. It was only a few minutes later, that they were headed for the town of Chatham, to do some Christmas Shopping. The reason for that is they have already seen what the local stores in Windsor, Tecumseh and Amherstburg have to offer, so they make an adventure of finding something different.

I had said that I would go to the Gym, but as I got closer, started thinking of an occasion only Twenty Days away. This gave me the chance to take my time, finding those Special Somethings to put a smile on Kathy’s face.

After nearly Three Hours, Four Stores, I was happy to have accomplished what I had set out to do. The reason it was so easy is because we normally buy something when we need it, so it keeps the number of Gifts down.

I was surprised that I was actually starting to feel hungry, so I returned to Wendy’s to use another Coupon for lunch. That was a Mistake. The Coupon was for a sandwich that is called a Baconater. If I was still a teenager, it would have been perfect, but this had me waddling back to the Car.

Back in our Apartment, I immediately set about wrapping the gifts. Once everything was finished, I was able to hide it all in plain sight, before moving on to another task.

Kathy normally has me put up our Christmas Tree by now, but with everything going on. I have not felt up to it. I was able to get everything out of the Storage Closet, before I started sweating. The Building Maintenance Man might have come in our Apartment while I was away, but until I speak to him, I really have no way to tell for certain. I had to put on a lighter shirt to cool down.

I’d barely started setting things up when our granddaughter Kylla called to say she was dropping Kathy at the front entrance. She also offered me help for another upcoming Medical Procedure.

As soon as Kathy walked in, she said it was too Hot, otherwise she was glowing with excitement of visiting with the Girls.

By the time we had Macaroni and Cheese for supper, we were both starting to feel cold in the Apartment. I’ll definitely be looking for John next week since he has the weekends off.

We watched a couple episodes of “Forensic Files” before calling it a night. I have some sleep to catch up on.
