Getting Harder To See The Little Things.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

It is hard to believe that I actually stayed in Bed for 7:58 Minutes last night. I did get up once and struggled to regain my lost Blankets when I returned. As soon as Kathy taps my side of the Bed with her hands and realizes that I am not there at that moment, she gathers all the Blankets together to cuddle with. After my struggle is over and we are holding hands again, she goes into a deeper more relaxed sleep. It was nearly 8:30 when I looked at the clock and decided to start my day.

I had barely gotten the Cereal Bowls filled when Kathy came out to join me. It was on the chilly side since we are still not able to control our own Heat as we sat to enjoy the start of the day. Kathy kept telling me of all the fun she had with the Girls yesterday. Every time they go out, even if it’s not for shopping, she is like a schoolgirl would react. I can only smile and give her a Hug and a Kiss.

Thursday, Kathy accidentally knocked her Coffee Mug off her side table and broke the handle off. We have tons of smaller mugs but since these are Sixteen Ounce Mugs (Impossible to find) I simply gave her mine and took her old one. Little did I realize how sharp Ceramic can be, until I sliced my Index Finger where the handle had once been connected.

Wanting something different for lunch, we enjoyed Grilled Olives and Cheese Sandwiches with Chocolate Pudding Cups for dessert.

With my not getting our Prewired Pencil Christmas Tree erected yesterday, I immediately started after lunch. My eyes have been having trouble focusing and when it came to finding the little Connections I struggled to see them. Kathy insisted that I had to put all three sections together before it would work. If I could not see the connection of One, how was stacking the entire thing going to help. She wanted to start decorating it but her frustration was making it even harder for me to focus. When I finally found the connection, she said she had told me to do it that way. I wonder why they say the Holidays are the most stressful time of the year. Since we have had a Rotating Base for over Twenty Years, it makes it easier to decorate. She tired herself out, so we’ll finish it tomorrow.

While Kathy was decorating the Christmas Tree, I was busy slicing up a perfectly ripe Pineapple. That worked out perfectly because when we later shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Hawaiian Pizza for supper, there was hardly any Pineapple on it. (Can’t see though the sealed Packaging), It tasted wonderful, with just enough Pineapple to suit our taste.

We later watched our first Christmas Special of the year, “She’s Checking It Twice”. It was cute and a change from Murder or News.

Kathy has already gone to Bed before I actually started writing the Blog. We’ll see what tomorrow brings.
