Claiming Back Our Space, Getting Things Ordered and Eating At Home.

Our Location today is at McGregor, Ontario, Canada.

We both woke within minutes of one another this morning and carefully maneuvered around the living area of the Trailer because of all the wrapped Christmas Gifts that were taking up space on the Floor. They were carefully standing next to the Kitchen Island because we had first dibs on the Bed.
We slept in that bed lat night.
Sitting at the Computers this morning felt so relaxing that it turned into a Two Cup session. We still completed our chores and made plans for what we would be doing this afternoon. Even just thinking about it made us tired.

Since we didn’t know when we would be eating supper Kathy made certain we had a slightly more filling lunch of Perogies topped off with Clementine Oranges and a couple of Cookies.

Stepping outside felt strangely comfortable since our area was back to seasonal temperatures. Once I had the Seats folded down and the Hatch open I started hauling Gift Bags out to the Picnic Table. After Kathy was outside and able to keep a watchful eye on the Gifts I started loading them in the Car. The Gifts now took a lot more room then when they were simply packed in Three Boxes. Now separated and wrapped in 20 Gift Bags they filled the entire back of the Escape behind the front seats. Kathy and I enjoyed those seats.
We even sat in the front seats.
It was past 1:00 when we arrived at Guardian Storage where the first thing we did was to collect our Mail. We then drove back to our Climate Controlled Storage Unit. By simply rolling out our Clothing Racks it was simple to find low Boxes and Bins that we could easily stand the Gift Bags on until we come to collect them this fall.

One of the pieces of Mail that we received today was the Reimbursement Cheque for Kathy’s foot care by Mary from Healthy Heals. That added another stop to today’s errands. We stopped at the Credit Union to deposit into our account.

We’ll be attending a Family Gathering on Saturday so we stopped at Walmart to order a Cake and Cupcakes as part of our contribution. We also picked up some Fruits and Vegetables while we were there. The store is undergoing a lot of renovations inside and out. The Bakery section will be closing for a week starting this coming Sunday. Good Timing!

We then went to the Tecumseh Mall where we went to one of the Kiosk to get a replacement Cell Phone Case. Mine was damaged getting out of the Intrepid back in April and would no longer clip to my belt. Since Kathy keeps her Cell Phone in her purse she’ll use my old case. We walked around a few other stores in the Mall as well as Dollarama which always seems to have something we need.

It was around 5:30 when we got Home and while I grilled a nice Ham Steak on the Weber, Kathy was cooking a Couple of Potatoes in the Microwave and making a Vegetable side. We were so hungry that she had to remind me to take a picture after a couple of bites.

While Kathy did the Dishes, I worked at the Computer making Safety Warnings for Three of the Gifts that will simply be added to the Gift Bags before distribution. I also had to do some research on everyone’s favourite subject which is Rattlesnakes. Even after downloading it, I had to read through the many pages to determine which of Twenty-Nine Species of Rattlesnakes we have so I could print out the proper description. (More on that after Thanksgiving.)

Tomorrow we’ll see what we can get done before the Heat returns on Friday. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
