After a very enjoyable evening with wonderful friends last night we slept quite soundly and were awake at a decent hour. There was no need for a heavy breakfast as we were still well satisfied from the meal we’d had without having overeaten.
This morning was not only spent at the computers reading other RV blogs but also the saddening news from Newtown Connecticut. With only 9 days left before Christmas it is not the time of year one would ever believe something this tragic could happen. Sadly this is also the time of year that many people find very depressing amid all the joyous festivities. Unfortunately others allow their anger to spill over losing control harming not only themselves but the innocent lives around them.
This afternoon with Kathy as my coach we continued baking more pastry delights to bring with us for Christmas dinner. Due to the severe pain Kathy is still experiencing in her shoulder she worked on making the fillings while I worked at making the pie crust. Our list of goodies now includes tarts and cookies with a cake that will be baked on Christmas Eve in order to insure its freshness. Later we did some catching up on other chores that need our attention before our departure for Florida in January.
We started to watch a Christmas Special on television following supper but strangely there was no audio to the movie. We tried chasing the same movie on the different channels that were showing it only to have the same problem. Suddenly another special came on with an apology at the bottom of the screen about technical difficulties. Now they’re starting to sound like Bloggers. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It is nice to get everything all in order for Christmas, and hope Kathy feels better soon.
