Cloudy Errand Day

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

With only 7 days until Christmas even going to the hardware store can be quite challenging. So when someone cuts you off and then blasts their car horn at you it is better to let them go ahead than getting all steamed about it. Besides they’re probably still part of the rat race and multi-tasking every minute of their day. Isn’t being retired just grand!
The sun never did show itself today keeping well hidden behind the thick bank of clouds that held the temperature down in the cool range. The weather forecast for the next couple of days is more of the same with slowly falling temps towards the weekend.
I managed to run a few errands before lunch while Kathy was busy cooking for many an upcoming meal. This evening for supper we enjoyed a much healthier version of hamburger helper as Kathy calls it that didn’t have all the salt and chemicals normally found in the commercial brand found in the grocery stores.
The apartment building repairman was off on vacation this week but the office deemed one of our needed repairs critical and sent Brandon a repairman from another of their buildings over within an hour of my call. He even repaired a few safety concerns I had outside of the apartment itself. That’s what you call good service from a company working to serve their tenants and not just taking advantage of them.
With Christmas only a week away we’ll soon be starting our packing and getting ready to head to Florida in January. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

Krackers

Why did the idiot have his sundial floodlit?

So he could tell the time at night!
