Today Kathy and I took our time getting out to the trailer in the storage yard this morning. We had done the hardest of the modifications that were left to complete yesterday. Even with those out of the way there were still unexpected challenges that popped up.
Kathy was very happy with the results of the storage that had been created. Thinking back of all the wasted space and areas that were not even being used the trailer has had quite the transformation. From shelves in the pantry that were spaced over a foot apart, or empty cabinets with no shelves and the wasted cavity under the bed because the manufacture could not build the slide mechinism square. There are still minor adjustments that will be done but it is looking good.
By 3 pm we had put away all the tools, loaded things that needed returning to the stores, and were on our way towards home. It was good timing because as we were leaving there were drops of rain on the windshield but it never amounted to the heavy storm that had been predicted. Instead when we arrived at the Home Depot to return the extra conduit there were large puddles of water throughout the parkinglot.
After supper tonight we headed back to Kevin and Melissa's for our weekly visit. Normally we visit on Wednesday but since we worked on the trailer until 8:30 last night we had rescheduled. I was able to return the miter saw since everything in the trailer was finished today. We had our usual fun filled visit and they were glad to see I was doing better then when they'd seen me on the weekend.
As we were leaving they also wished us Safe Travels for our trip starting Sunday because we are now only 3 days before we are on the road again. Thankfully this mild break in the warmer temps helped us to achieve our goals but they return soon enough with the start of Summer being only 20 days away. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.

Nix the Fist Bump at Interviews
The fist bump is becoming an accepted variation of,
or replacement for, the handshake in some situations,
like when game show host Howie Mandel a noted
Germophobe greets contestants.
It's not appropriate to use the fist bump while on a job
interview or when expressing condolences at a funeral.

Hi,
ReplyDeleteYour story sounds a lot like ours. We both lost our first spouse to cancer. We found each other fell in love and also fell in love with RVing.
All the best,
