Even though we had planned to bring things out to the trailer today it never happened. It seemed to be a combination of things that said do me first. With the forecast for rain this afternoon Kathy didn't want to take the chance of contamination to her foot and always seems apprehensive to let me bring things to the trailer by myself.
Today she got me to help her in the kitchen on one of her cooking days. That was probably what took so long. Not the fact that she had a bummed up foot but having me help her cook. Give me tools and machinery I'm good but in the kitchen I'm lost. A big reason Kathy does these cooking days is to avoid food waste. If it spoils before it's cooked it is just like throwing our money away. Once she cooks it up we have meals for several days that only take minutes to warm in the micro-wave and if there are leftovers from that she'll recreate it so you don't know its leftovers and we are saving on our food money. The biggest problem with all this food tasting so good is that it doesn't get wasted and I'm getting the waistline to prove it.
Granddaughter Kylla on prom night (16yrs old)
The rain predicted for this afternoon never happened again today which was bad for the farmers but good for Kathy because we went over to Karen's before 4:00. We didn't go for any meal but to see our Beautiful Granddaughter transformed into a young woman for her first prom. Gone are the days of the bicycle with the training wheels and braces on her teeth. It's amazing how just days ago you used to carry them in the house over your shoulder because they didn't make the ride home. Kathy (grama) and Kylla |

Office Jokes, Quotes, and Anecdotes
Dilbert: I have an ethical question about telecommuting,
Do I owe my employer eight productive hours, or do I only need
to match the two productive hours I would have in the office?
Dogbert: Well when you factor in how you're saving the planet
by not driving, you only owe one hour.
Dilbert: And this meeting counts.
