Another Busy Day.

Our Location Today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Everyone we speak to tells us being retired must be nice not having anything to do most of the time. Who are they talking about?
We were up at 7:30 this morning because our granddaughter Kylla needed some medical tests done but her mom Karen could bring her there but needed to go on to work. Our task was to make sure Kylla got to school afterwards. No Problem!
A very quick stop at home and we were off for hair cuts and styling for Kathy.
Lunch time at home and then we were catching up on E-mails and blogs. Kathy finally resolved the problem of finding a campground in the Wisconsin Dells area that would allow us to stay for two nights and not insisting that we book for three.
Three o'clock this afternoon I picked Kylla up at school and brought her home.

Tonight was our weekly visit to our son Kevin and daughter-in-law Melissa's. It doesn't matter how bad or good a day any of us had we always have an enjoyable visit with lots of laughs. To top that off we even get some hugs in with Matthew and Cameron our grandsons.
It's a good thing we are retired with nothing much to do!
A big surprise yesterday we received three new followers of our blog. So today we'd like to Thank Nan and John Talley from the blog Confessions of the RV Loving Fiber Artist who are 85% ready to putting their farm on the market. Interestingly they used to raise llamas and harvest the hair to make into clothing. Now they're planning on Fulltiming and seeing this beautiful land of ours. Thank you also to Ken and Angela from RV LIFE IS GOOD who are also in the process of going Fulltime. Lastly we'd like to Thank Jim and Dee from the blog TUMBLEWEED who we have been reading of their Fulltime adventures for a couple of years. As a fact Kathy recalls Chatting with Dee on the RV Dreams chat forum quite some time back. Again a big thank you to all our new followers.
It will surprise many people that I've been following their blogs since I retired 3 years next month and Kathy has been doing it longer. The problem was we didn't have a Google account much less a blog until last November. Kathy and I would use the Anonymous Commenter button but we always stated who we were.
Someone else recently commented how they loved the pictures of the Grand Canyon. Would also like to say  that no matter how good any pictures of the Grand Canyon are they can never capture the true effect as seen by the human eye. Another thing is you can simply change the effects of the pictures by waiting a few moments as the constantly moving clouds continue to change the appearance of the landscape.
With the high temperatures becoming more seasonal this weekend and the present temp being below freezing it will make the arrival of Spring a welcoming relief in another 41 days or sooner. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.

  1. Yes, it does seem that retirement brings its own busyness into our lives, doesn't it? But at least we aren't trudging off to work everyday :) Glad you found a spot for your July dates.

  2. Wow, you sure got more pictures of the G C than we did. I love the pics! We are going to be traveling with llama fiber and I will be spinning, felting, weaving and knitting away!

  3. Just seeing the pics of the GC brings my mind back to our visit last year. Thanks for the reminder!
