Strange how I had a good night’s sleep, while Kathy said she had a restless night. I was up at 7:00 get things as ready as possible for breakfast and because of her restless night, it was Two Hours later that Kathy joined me.

Once we’d settled back at our Computers, there were a few things we had to do, to be ready for this afternoon.

With lunch finished it wasn’t long before we headed down to the Second Floor Laundry Room. We walked in as three others were leaving, giving us half the Washers we needed but that was fine. Hard to believe that it has been over Two Weeks since our last washing, but we are fortunate to have enough clothes to last that long. Once we had the Washers going, we headed back upstairs.

We ran into our neighbour that we haven’t seen in some time. Where we have spent money maintaining and repairing our Truck, he spent close to that amount on his Puppy who is developing Arthritis after 14 Years.

There was exactly Two Dryers available when we returned to move things around. Luckily the Dryers hold double of what the Washers do, so that worked out for us. We were also able to wash the last of our Clothes.

With the Washers only taking 43 Minutes per cycle and the Dryers taking 60 Minutes, we returned when the Washers stopped. We emptied the Dryers because the Clothes were dry in less than an Hour, then refilled them with loads from the Washers. I then added Thirty Minutes to each Dryer for an extra Seventy-Five Cents each. That meant it cost only One Dollar per wash load, to dry.

After putting things away, I started getting things ready for supper. The 6 o’clock Local News was on before we sat down to eat. We shared a large Salmon Fillet, with Sauteed Potato Slices and Mixed Veggies as a side. We also finished the Tuxedo Cake for dessert along with a glass of Carbonated Juice as our refreshment.

We’ll be watching a Murder Mystery before going to bed.
