More Comments Clarified.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

After sleeping so well the last couple of nights, I cut my Melatonin dosage by half. The end result was that I still slept like a rock. The solution to my problem seems to be by cutting the number of Hours that I try to sleep down. It forces my body to rest on a compressed schedule.

We were having breakfast before 8:30. As a treat I made us Hot Chocolate for our morning hot drink that we took to the Computers. It was 34 F (1 C) outside when my Computer finally came to life.

Looking back at some of our recent Comments, I thought that I should clarify.

The first was about using Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensors on all Ten of our tires. We had used them from 2011 until late 2018 and found they gave a lot of false alerts. We’d stop, manually check all the Tires, only to find them up to the Pressure I had used. They were supposed to warn against slow leakage, but they didn’t. Those Blowouts that happen while using them, would not even set off the Alarm. The Manufacture said they only warned of slow leaks, not Blowouts. The Tire Shop I was dealing with claimed the Monitors were the major source of leakage for lot of his customers. When we got the last Blowout on our Eagle Supreme, we stopped using them.

When I mentioned our Self Calculating Spreadsheets, I should have defined their Usage.

Every time we stop for Fuel I logged Date, Location, Odometer Reading, amount of Fuel (Litres or US Gallons). That helped to monitor Fuel Mileage as well.

The Medications we always brought from home, so we had to have enough to last our entire trip, calculated to the exact tablet. The only way that kept a surplus was when we’d forget to take our evening meds.

Monitoring our Expenses when Travelling was a way to not overspend our budget, but also a way of knowing where and what we spent our monies on. It also helped us notice our Credit Cards had been Compromised Twice.

I also monitor our Blog Readership. When we first started writing, Blogger had Graphs that showed the Monthly Readership for only a Three-Year Period. I thought I’d like to have my own permanent Counter by starting to track the Top Three-Daily Visits and the Top Three-Monthly Visits. Blogger has since eliminated the Graph but I have all the numbers. I recently added the Top Three-Yearly Readership Visits as well.

When you retire, how much free time you have on your hands and what you do with it can vary. I have always loved working with numbers and even carried a 99.5% Average in Algebra (-.5% for a Sloppy Signature on my exam.) I didn’t like sitting behind a desk and preferred a Hands-On Job, thus I became a Welder.

Later this afternoon, when the temperature reached 57 F (14 C), I convinced Kathy to get out of the Apartment. With cool easterly Winds we headed to Arby’s to enjoy Reuben Sandwiches for supper, before going to Walmart just to walk them off. I bought a Murder Mystery written by a Canadian Astronaut to add to our collection.

Tomorrow is looking to be busy and could get busier.

Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment, unless it personally attacks someone for their opinion, or is Spam.

Krackers

What will today's younger generation tell their children they had to do “without”?

  1. I keep good records on the RV, but so much on the truck or Jeep that are driven daily.
Instead of pressure monitoring i use the Alligator valve stem Cap on the RV. It allows for pressure check and adjustment without needing to be removed
