All Fired Up, Moderate Workout and All Gassed Up.

This morning as soon as the buzzer went off I headed over to the Plasma Transfer Arc Welding Station. Having spoken with Alec at the end of yesterday’s shift I had a list of things I could do to advance the job. The way they have been keeping me busy with repairs lately Alec doubted I’d even get started. I was moving the Feedscrew with the Crane when Jojov came over to help me get it into the Machine.

When Alec walked in he could hear the Burner going to warm the Feedscrew up to temperature. I had already cleaned the Torch and installed the freshly sharpened Tungsten.

We worked together the entire day and I managed to learn quite a bit. I know of a Fifteen Minute Repair I’ll do tomorrow but otherwise I am learning how to do another version of Welding that I never knew existed before.

Kathy had mentioned that the gas prices were down today so I filled the Truck at the Pioneer gas station. It cost $200.00 and it wasn’t empty.

With Construction Delays I didn’t get to Planet Fitness until 4:30. After a good sweaty Cardio Workout I started with the Free Weights. After not working out for over a week I only managed to complete Two Sets of my weight class. The fact that the place was also packed with Students taking advantage of Free Summer Exercise and a chance to win a Scholarship also added to the confusion. It was never that packed at 6:00 in the morning. Seeing that it was already 6:00 I headed for the shower.

I swung by Arby’s to pick up a couple of Greek Gyros for supper. I simply used an Insulated Shopping Bag to keep them warm.

This lot was filled with Canadian Geese.

The News was just finishing when I arrived at the Apartment. Kathy had stayed in all day but needed some groceries.

We took the Car to the Pioneer gas station to top it off in case the prices again go up. It only cost $49.05 to fill.

At Dollarama we managed to get everything we needed before heading for home. The Rain helped to wash our Car as we drove but the minute we pulled into the lot it stopped.

Hoping I can get more training in tomorrow.

The Weather Network showed our Humidex felt like 91 F (33 C).

  1. It would be so helpful if Kathy was able to run errands during the day so you could come home after a long day at work and just relax.
