Appointment and Errands.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

It felt good sleeping in until 7:20 this morning but there was a twist. I was the one noticing Kathy missing from the bed for a change. She had been Tossing around in bed knowing she had an Appointment later this morning.

I kept breakfast simple by having Toast with Peach Jam along with our Coffee/Tea that we took to the Computers. As soon as we’d eaten breakfast Kathy started her morning chores so she’d be ready when it was time. With Only Three Hours before Mary’s arrival and a clean Apartment we could not waste a minute.

This morning's Rain.

I’d already applied on Two Job Ads before Kathy finally sat down to drink her Cold Tea. A Half Hour before the appointed time she started pacing because it had been raining outside. She finally sat down seconds before there was a knock on our Door. Someone seeing Mary from Healthy Heals carrying her gear had let her inside the Front Foyer Door. It didn’t take long to get set up and before long she was bringing relief to Kathy’s aching feet.

We spent a bit more time on the Computers after she left before even thinking about a late lunch. Neither of us were really hungry so we kept it simple by having Herbed Chicken and Rice Soup along with a small bowl of Cantaloupe for dessert.

Around 2:00 we noticed the parking lot was drying up and the Sun was slowly penetrating the Clouds. With errands to run we headed out.

Our first stop was at Green Shield Insurance to drop off the Claim Form from Mary’s earlier visit. I simply waited in the Car while Kathy dropped it off through the Mail Slot.

We headed over to Dollarama where we started getting things written on our Shopping List. We did slip up by adding a bag of Popcorn that wasn’t on the List.

From there we headed over to the Zehr’s grocery store. We gathered more Vegetables to replace all the ones I’ve been using in my Stir-Fries. Along with a few frozen Medium Thin Crust Pizzas we weren’t in the store long and it was a good thing. My Hernia seems to act up when I walk on solid surfaces. The floor at the Gym is padded.

Knowing it would take time to get everything put away and we were starting to finally feel hungry we headed over to Burger King. Even though it was Whopper Wednesday we chose to use a Coupon and enjoy their Original Chicken Sandwiches. It was enough to satisfy our hunger.

Using our Two Wheel Shopping Cart we brought everything up to the Apartment in a single trip. It took time but soon everything was put away in the Fridge and Pantry Drawers.

The Weather Network showed our temperature felt like 86 F (30 C) this afternoon. The Northeast Winds were keeping us cooler.

Tomorrow we’ve got more running to do but with the dropping cost of Gasoline we won’t mind.
