Early Start, Using The List and Getting Fuelled Up.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

Strangely we both seemed to have a restless night so we ended up sleeping past 7:30 this morning. Since it was Sunday we skipped the cereal and enjoyed French Toast for breakfast. I also took the time to soak my feet in Water with Epson Salts. They definitely feel better now.

With the temperature forecasted to be nearly as hot as yesterday we did a quick scan of our Computers before heading out minutes after 10:00. We had a number of errands lined up but it was a matter of doing things without Kathy getting too hot so we made certain there was plenty of Air Conditioning in our travels.

Our first stop was Guardian Storage to collect the few pieces of mail that were there. To make it more worth our while we also swung around to check out the Trailer. It still amazes us that they allow Service Vans to rent the spot directly next to our Trailer.

Since Kathy has to run errands while I’m at work she needs to have a Car with a full tank of Gas. Stopping at the Pioneer gas station we soon had that taken care of.

Next we headed to Dollarama where we picked up some Food Stocks as well as Office Supplies.

With more shopping to do and lunch soon approaching we then went to Wendy’s Drive-Thru where we had our usual satisfying meal of Chicken Wraps, Small Chocolate Frosties and Seniors Soft Drinks at very reasonable prices.

That gave us the energy we needed to get the rest of our groceries. Stopping at Zehr’s grocery store it didn’t take long to fill our Cart with only the things on our List.

With more running to do our next stop was the Apartment to put the groceries away and for Kathy to cool down.

We were soon out the door again but this time taking the Truck. With all the Road Construction and Detours Kathy can easily get turned around so we drove the route that she’ll need to take tomorrow. On the return we stopped at the new Pioneer gas station location to fill the Truck with Diesel. Even though the price of Diesel was less then Gas the total was more then Three Times as much.

Continuing for home we realized we had not gotten any Apples while shopping earlier so we stopped at Food Basics where we solved that issue along with a few unexpected supplies.

Windsor felt warmer with less Humidity.

For the second day in a row our 6 o’clock Local News was pre-empted by a Golf Tournament but we already knew the Weather Reports for the Windsor/Essex Region. It wasn’t a surprise when I saw that Windsor, Ontario was actually warmer then Quartzsite, Arizona. That is something that often happens during the Winter months.

For supper we had Pulled Pork with Vegetable Rice along with Carbonated Juice as a beverage and a Chocolate covered Cinnamon Roll for dessert.

We watched an episode of “The Good Witch” this evening and hope to see the season finale next week.

Keeping our fingers crossed that tomorrow starts the week off on a good note.

  1. Love french toast but haven't had it in forever! Nice when you can take the time to enjoy a nice breakfast together. You certainly got your running around done! Hope you have a great week!
