Really Cleaning Up and Notting Hill

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

I managed to sleep soundly the entire night but Kathy didn’t get to sleep until after 2:00 this morning. Wanting to get an early start I still slept until after 8:00. I had everything ready and had just turned the Computers on when Kathy joined me at the dining table. She had plans of her own and didn’t want to just lay around.

We made it a single cup morning which was just long enough to see the Local News and Weather before I started changing the Bed Sheets. It was again Laundry Day so once the Bed was remade it was time to sort everything else. Time just seemed to fly but I am getting better at judging how long this process takes. I was only Five Minutes off for when we could have lunch.
Kathy made Perogies knowing that they would hold us over until we had our supper. She also made a dessert plate with a piece of Fruit Cake, a Clementine Orange and Yogurt Cup all topped off with a Pomegranate/Raspberry Tea. Meals like that give us a chance to talk about the Past, Present and Future.

The Laundry Rooms were both busy today so I had to do One Load at a time until more machines became available.

Kathy was just as busy doing more cleaning in the Apartment. She said she just cleaned it yesterday but it was dirty again today. She’s just a Perfectionist like me.

It was nearly 5:00 by the time I got back with all the Folded Laundry so when I needed to sit for a few minutes to straighten my back it gave us both time to relax.
While I started putting the Laundry away Kathy started breading some Halibut Fillets. She also sauteed some Potato Slices to go with the Niblet Corn and Fish. It always tastes wonderful.

We watched the 6 o’clock Local News, an episode of Law and Order before watching “Notting Hill” starring Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant. This was one of the first movies we saw when we started dating so it was nice to see it again and it brought back many happy memories.

Tomorrow we have a few things to take care of before we have a visit with our Good Friends for supper. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

I enjoy yalls blog, I started out reading Field Lab, then Terlingua Dreams, and now Its About Time. I see many ways I identify with you, and T. D. but when it comes to traveling around, it stops there. I think its wonderful to be able to travel. I tried to comment on T.D. but cant post for some reason.
So, keep writing and having fun, I will keep reading.

    1. Hi Grich!

Rick left a comment on my blog to let me know you were unable to comment. I have checked my filters and I can not find a reason for you not to be able to do so since you have a Blogger Nick.

The only filter I have is not allowing Anonymous commentors since they tend to be Spammers for the most part.

Thank you for reading my blog and please try to post again.

  2. Once again you beat me to the laundromat. You are such a good husband to help with that chore.

  3. Cleaning and laundry is a necessary evil I suppose. Not something I really enjoy. Good for you for helping.

  4. Glad you got the laundry done. I need to get that done while I'm conveniently at an RV park. Maybe a tomorrow job. It would be hard to be a perfectionist in Quartzsite with all the dust, but I guess you two manage. Hope you're still working towards that goal.
