Chores, Leftovers and “Rush Hour”.

This morning I had most of my reading on the Computer finished before Kathy came downstairs for breakfast. After taking a Tylenol Arthritis Tablet for the second night in a row Kathy seemed to have gotten a solid night’s sleep and didn’t have as much pain in her hands this morning.

It was unbelievable to see the numbers of Golfers out on the Links this morning. The weather has finally gotten to the point that it feels like Summer rather then Fall.

Staying away from doing research this morning we had other things to take care of. Kathy got an early start on some indoor chores while I sorted through our Laundry. It has been nearly Two Weeks due to all the Appointments and Celebrations that we have been attending.
Knowing that I would be gone for some time Kathy decided to make up lunch while I was still there. Since today was Sunday she thought having Belgium Waffles with Strawberries and Cool Whip would hold us through until our next meal and she was right.

Once I had everything in the Washers I walked over to the Park Exercise Room. As stated before it is not much but it is better then nothing at all. Having paid attention as to when the laundry would be washed I was back in the Park Laundry Room just on time to hear the machines shutting off.

With the Dryers doing their job I walked back Home to talk with Kathy and relax in a comfortable chair. It didn’t take long for the time to fly by before I had to head back. I had the Folding Table all cleaned off when the First Dryer stopped. I finally made it Home just before 4:00.

After standing for over an Hour and a Half while folding our laundry I only took a Two Minute break before unpacking the basket. We worked together putting away everything.
After another short break I was back outside warming up the Leftover Spare Ribs on our Weber Q that we had last night while Kathy served the sides of Coleslaw along with Potato and Egg Salad. Everything tasted wonderful and had us well satisfied.

After cleaning up the dishes we watched the movie “Rush Hour” starring Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker as the most unlikely partners in Law Enforcement. Even though this came out in the Nineties this was the first time either of us had ever seen it. After watching the extra clips from making the movie it was as serious and comical as the movie had been. We gave it a Ten.

Even though The Weather Network is showing a lot of bad weather for our area tomorrow we are confident we’ll find something of interest to keep us busy. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. Laundry day can be quite a challenge when you have to use a laudro mat. Been saving up my quarters just in cade I make up to the mountains, but my friend reminded me you buy a card now to stick in the machine? Guess it's been awhile for me.

  2. You once again beat me to the laundromat. The ones in town are filled to capacity. Your belgium waffles look quite tasty.

I sincerely hope the weather forecasters are wrong and that you have a nice day tomorrow as you did today.

  3. I solved my laundry problem by not going anywhere. Just kidding ..... but with one person, my laundry is minimal. Good for you for doing it mostly by yourself!! I hope your weather guessers are wrong!!! It would be nice if summer really was here.

  4. A nice day at home except for getting out to do laundry. I am amazed with just two of us how the laundry builds up..but it is nice having washer and dryer so closed. Now i'm hanging most things outside on the line and love the fresh smell..
