We Have Light, Getting Cleaned Up and Big Detour.

Our Location today is McGregor, Ontario, Canada.

By the time we went to bed last night the Temperature had dropped all the way down to 90 F (32 C) so we just left the A.C. turned on. When we got up this morning the temperature had dropped down to 59 F (15 C) and even though we could hear the heat of the Sun making the trailer expand we were able to shut the A.C. off and open all the windows before having breakfast.

By the time we were enjoying our morning Coffee at the Computers the cool west wind was blowing through the trailer and it felt so comfortable. Once our morning reading was finished we both had chores to do before I started emptying the Upper Shelf in our Bedroom Cabinet. The reason for doing this was so I could install the new LED Interior Light we bought at Princess Auto so Kathy would be able to see her clothes. It was strange that Jayco mounted Two Lamps inside the Front Closet but never thought to install one in the Cabinet.

After temporarily mounting the New Light it was removed so I could see where to cut a hole in the ceiling panel. I then dropped the nearest Lamp in the Closet. Using my Fiberglass Wire Fish I was able to run the new wires over to the old fixture. I did need Kathy for a minute to pull it back partly while I felt through the one-inch diameter hole to line it up for extraction. Once the new wires were pulled through it only took a few minutes to have them all connected and the lights remounted. Kathy loves the amount of light she now gets from her new LED Light

For lunch Kathy used some of the Hardboiled Eggs she made yesterday and made Egg Sandwiches with an Apple, Clementine Oranges and Dates for dessert. We discussed what we needed to accomplish this afternoon. Kathy wanted to go to Walmart in Amherstburg for some needed supplies but I needed to get the Basement cleaned out and get my Tools put back in their proper boxes and I knew it was going to take time. Kathy does have a valid Drivers License so she drove herself to Amherstburg.

I gathered all the Wood Material and Hardware from inside the trailer and put them on the Picnic Table. In the process of gathering my Tools I realized I hadn’t had the chance to replace the Burnt-Out Indicator Switch so with the Tools and Switch being right there it took less then Ten Minutes to have it all fixed.

The reason for removing a lot of things out of the Basement is there are Warranty Issues that have to be addressed at the Dealership and they are located behind the Rear Basement Wall. I had about ¾ of the basement cleaned out and ½ the Tools put where they belonged when Kathy finally got back. We had totally forgotten that there was something special going on this weekend in Amherstburg and she ended up in Bumper-to-Bumper Traffic that got Detoured. When she finally got to Walmart she had hard time finding a parking spot but there were hardly any customers in the store. She lucked out and managed to get everything she needed before heading Home.

After Kathy put away her purchases she came outside and started trimming the now Drying Flower Stems on our Hostas while I started cutting our grass. Even though Lawn Service is provided her at Wildwood they tend to overcut it and we like Green Grass instead of Brown Ground

For supper tonight we kept it lite and simple, while I grilled some Hotdogs on the Weber Kathy served up some Cole Slaw and Potato Salad along with getting the Buns garnished. After watching the 6 o’clock News we found a movie on television to watch. More moderate weather for us tomorrow. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
