Wrong Number and Setting A Routine.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Last night we were both sound asleep still recovering from being out in the high Humidex heat on Friday when suddenly at 2:38 AM the phone started ringing. Naturally we both jumped out of bed in panic mode thinking there was something wrong with someone near and dear to us. Kathy reached the phone before I did and the slurred voice from the other end of the line asked for Will Walker. The slurred voice made us think it was someone calling a buddy for a ride home from a bar. Fortunately it was only minutes later and I was back to sleep. Unfortunately Kathy wasn’t so lucky and it took her another two hours before she drifted back to sleep.

Kathy nearly followed me into the kitchen when I got up shortly after 8:00 this morning. Sitting down for breakfast we again watched as the Weather Network issued a heat advisory for the third day in a row and even went on to say that tomorrow will be another scorcher. After eating we took our coffees to enjoy while sitting at our computers. Once we’d finished our morning reading we both had data entries that needed catching up and I was also able to finish modifying the spreadsheet that I’ve been working on this week.

After lunch Kathy needed to take a Snap in the recliner while I made a quick run to the Shoppers Drug Mart. One of the spreadsheets that I created helps me to keep track of our medications and vitamins so while I was working on it before lunch I noted that there were vitamins I needed to get before next weekend. The one thing that today’s purchase proved was that keeping healthy is not cheap. I was back at the apartment in less than twenty minutes from the time I had left and startled Kathy when I walked in. She didn’t think that I’d left yet which proves she’d had a good rest.

While Kathy did some reading I finally got myself motivated enough to have a short workout. When I was still working I hit the gym on a daily routine. Now if I’m working on something I put that ahead of my own wellbeing. Now I almost feel human again and hope to get back into a routine.

Since we weren’t too active today we really watched not to eat very much. We finished the day watching a couple of movies that we hadn’t had the opportunity to see before. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
