Plan B.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Due to the fact that Jim at Windsor Gas and Diesel couldn’t work on the truck until this morning and there wasn’t a secured lot to leave the truck in we had to drive it home last Thursday. This was a long weekend so I was up early to bring the truck in before 8:00 this morning. Kathy arrived before 8:30 to bring me home. 

We’d had breakfast and were finishing our computer reading by 9:30 when Jim called. After connecting the truck to their computer it was determined that it was not in fact the DPF but the EGR sensor that had malfunctioned. The big problem is that none of the local Ford dealerships had the part in stock and the soonest it would be delivered is this Thursday morning.

Since we are heading to London to visit family members tomorrow we quickly came up with Plan B take the car. There is nothing wrong with the car but it is just that Kathy feels safer traveling in the truck. This year our area has been plagued by spiders attaching themselves to buildings and vehicles. After putting some of the cleaners that I needed I drove over to our daughter Karen’s home and washed the car. 

I was back at the apartment just in time for lunch. The car actually shines! After eating I went back outside to finish cleaning the interior of the car. Once that was finished I headed over to the gas station so that I won’t have to worry about it in the morning. 

Kathy managed to clean up all the leftovers in the fridge today. For supper she served the last of the Pepper Steak on egg noodles. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
