Active Life.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

We just hate having to set the alarm for early morning appointments because our bodies shift into Pretravel Mode and we have a hard time sleeping properly. We were up before 8:00 this morning because Kathy had an appointment with her Cardiologist. After having breakfast and getting ready we were out the door before 9:00 in order to be on time for her 9:30 appointment.
Kathy Zip Lining.
The reason I go with Kathy is because this doctor has a Male Superiority Complex and Kathy would come away from her appointments in tears. As long as I sit in the room he treats her with the utmost respect. He did surprise us though today by ordering tests that she had twelve years ago to see if her Congenital Heart Defect has gotten any worse. He was glad to hear that Kathy doesn’t let it bother her and lives her life as actively as possible. It was nearing noon hour by the time we were on our way home. Since the doctor had stated that it was healthier to eat tacos than hamburgers. We stopped at Taco Bell and took his advice.

He also recommended walking after our meals so we stopped in at Walmart to get some walking exercise in. he also recommended dark chocolate as a healthy snack so in our walking we not only pick up some dark chocolate so Kathy can have a healthy snack but the light bulb went on and we managed to scratch some additional gifts off our shopping list.

Back at the apartment we got our morning reading caught up before I loaded up the truck with cleaning supplies that we’ll be using on the trailer tomorrow. Around 5:00 Kathy created a wonderful salad to go with the Orange Rouphy fillets I grilled on the Weber. She also served us each a delicious slice of Homemade Strawberry/Rhubarb pie topped with frozen vanilla yogurt. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. I hope the doctor Kathy went to was a good one. Attitude speaks strongly in medical care and there are many skilled doctors out there...

  2. Too bad that Kathy has to go to a doctor with that kind of attitude.

  3. I wonder what the doctor thinks gives him the right to not respect Kathy...or any woman? Glad you found a way to control his bad behavior.
