Busy Day.

Our Location Today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Well this morning we woke to sunlight that was trying desperately to get around the bedroom drapery. Not the full blown in your face effect we had yesterday when we found the drapes on the floor because the wall holding the mounting hardware had failed.

Right after breakfast Kathy helped me sort and prep the laundry and off I went before it would get too busy. In the meantime theTazmanian Devil took over Kathy's body and had the apartment shining by the time I got back. A couple minutes of computer time and it was lunch. The time really goes fast.

After lunch Kathy went back to her research and I started making phone calls to people at companies that say they'll call you back but don't. I am not in a rush at this time so I will give them a little slack and time. Once we are on the road if they say they'll get back to me I'll tell them I'm staying on the line until this is resolved. Another thing don't accidently hang up on me and not immediately call me back because when I call you back you won't like my tone of voice or what I will say. Today's calls went very well.

In last night's post I added a link for people who are lessening their loads called Downsizing and Learning to Live with Less. I had a comment from Shoeless Joe from Travelin' With John about that it is human instinct for many of us that if we have an empty space that we have to find something to fill it with. Many people don't realize just how much they accumalate until they decide to move or sell their homes I know Kathy and I felt overwhelm going through it all. That is so truthful and that is what that article talks about so I have created a link to it that I will be leaving for anybody to read in the future.
I'd also would like to apologize to Snookie Quinn from The Quinn's Awesome Journey as the Day I was thanking our followers I had a bad vision day and had read Snookie Queen. Sorry! I'm sure your husband Bob will have a chuckle now.
This afternoon we also got a new follower to our blog. We'd like to thank George and Suzie Yates  from Our Awesome Travels for joining us. At this moment they are down in southern Arizona and when they come back to Canada They'll almost be passing though our new neighbourhood.

The temperature is slowly going to start inching its way up tomorrow but so is the snow. Green Christmas but a white spring go figure? Well lets just hope it isn't white when Spring does arrive in 36 days. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It's about time.

  2. LOVE your method of handling calls!

We went through that a few days ago, and I think they disconnected me each time because they didnt have the right answer. Finally I bypassed them, and dialed the main company number and hit any 4 digit code for an extension. THAT person got me the right supervisor to fix it. HAHAHHAHA

  3. Great pictures. I wish I could get that cleaning demon in me. Maybe if I read that downsizing article, I'll get inspired to throw it all away! haha
