Girls Day Out, Comment Response and Turning White.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

It was back to a restless night, where I moved between my Recliner and Bed repeatedly. That is something that I can't get a grasp on. I wish I could simply go to Bed every night and not wake until morning.

Knowing that Kathy was going out this morning, the first thing I did before waking her was to look outside, then check "The Weather Network". I was a little concerned and told Kathy as we had our breakfast snack. The temperature was hoovering close to the Freezing Mark. When I went to get the Car, cleaning off the windows became an issue.

We spent a bit of time visiting with Greg, Tyler and Sanford, before Kylla showed up. This was going to be a Three Generation Girls Day out shopping. When it was time for them to leave, they headed towards the county, while I headed towards home.

I had Planned on heading to the Gym, but for the last day, did not feel up to par. Even though I could have gone home to make something to eat, I went to Wendy's. I had their Six Piece Chicken Nuggets with a Coffee for less than $4.00. I finished the Coffee at home after 11:00 while at my Computer.

It took time before I started feeling better and I used it to get caught up on my reading. In response to a Comment, I do write about what happens in both Kathy's and my present lives especially when we are traveling. We both had former Spouses that were taken from us, the same year, by Cancer. I don't mind writing about my personal life because Kathy expects me to write the Blog, but there are personal things that we shared of our past, that I don't believe Kathy would be comfortable doing publicly. What I can say is that we both had hard lives, that we had to earn our own money for Books, Clothes and Transportation, while going to school. There was no such thing as Cell Phones or Computers. When we did Math Calculations, they were written on paper and figured in our heads. One of the reasons we use our Debit Cards so much these days, is because most cashiers can't figure out how much change to give you, when we pay with Cash.

It was nearly 3:00 when Karen dropped Kathy at the front entrance. Since I had moved around the Apartment earlier, I had locked the door. After Karen called to say they had just arrived, I got up to unlock the door again. I was just turning away, when it opened behind me. Talk about timing!

The Girls had fun visiting while getting Plants for Kylla's apartment, then going for lunch.

It was after 6:00 when Kathy suggested having supper. I was so involved with my Computer that I didn't feel hungry. We shared a Store-Bought Summer Pasta Salad. We later had Yogurt Cups for dessert and watched a few episodes of "Forensic Files".

I looked out the window a few minutes ago, to see all the vehicles in the parking lot have White Windshields. It's that time of year.
