A Wonderfully Pleasant Surprise.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

After a rough night on Wednesday, it was a complete reversal last night. I spent over Three Hours asleep in my Recliner, before adding another Five in Bed. I wasn't even up Ten Minutes this morning when Kathy joined me for our breakfast snack. That is the meal we try to not overdo but consume just enough to burn off with our Coffees.

The forecast for today was exact. There was Drizzle from the time the Sun came up, then around 9:00 it turned to a steady Rain until lunch had passed. It took a few more hours for the pavement to begin to dry, but the best part was the Sun breaking through the Clouds, just as it was about to set.

I was just about to make lunch, when our daughter Karen called while on her lunch break. She invited Kathy to go out on Sunday for a ride out to Colasonti's Tropical Gardens to pick up some plants for our granddaughter's apartment. It will be a fun Three Generation Visit.

We were still marking that on Kathy's calendar, when our daughter Rose called to see how we were doing. The last time we spoke, they were looking at buying another house, but with delays at the Bank, lost out on the deal. We had a chance to catch up on a few other things, before saying goodbye.

Needless to say, the Two Calls really delayed lunch, so we shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Hawaiian Pizza with extra Pineapple.

The "6 o'clock Local News" was finished before we started feeling hungry, so we simply had Macaroni and Cheese to tide us over until breakfast. Both the Local Weather Guesser and the Radar showed we should be getting our first Flurries of the season on Monday.

We later watched a couple "Murder Mysteries" for entertainment. Kathy headed to Bed shortly after 10:00. We are hoping to accomplish a few things tomorrow.
