Split Decision and Early Voting.

While we were having breakfast this morning, we talked about my irregular sleeping habits that I’ve developed lately. It was at that point I remembered that I have not been taking any kind of Sleep Aides for since the Holidays. That could explain why I see-sawed between the Recliner and Bed every Two Hours last night, but at least I slept.

After reading RV Blogs this morning, I got cleaned up for my afternoon appointment. That gave us time to have Chicken Noodle Soup for lunch while the water kettle was boiling.

We both needed an Epson Salt Foot Bath and foot care. I did Kathy’s feet first because of the Special Care, due to her Diabetes. Bit by bit I keep hoping that one day the one Toenail, that we’ve been working on since 2009 will finally grow the way it should.

We arrived at the address according to Google Maps, in the Tecumseh strip mall only to see a restaurant in its place. Their sign was still on the Street Pole, so a slow drive brought us to their new location. I was sent to Clear Imaging for an Ultra-Sound on my Neck by my Family Doctor. He knows about the worn Discs in my Neck, but wants to know what is causing so much Pain. He suspects the Discs could be rubbing on the Spinal Cord and hopes this will help answer the question of how to treat it. It took nearly an Hour.

We are presently in the middle of a Provincial Election here in Ontario, and though I’ve been unsuccessfully trying to find out On-Line, where we would vote, today we got our answer. Driving around the strip mall to find Clear Imaging, we drove by an Early Voting Station. What the big problem is that our Mailing Address and Living Address are different and Voting goes by our Address. Luckily, they are in the same riding, so we took advantage of this opportunity and Voted today. We also now know where we’ll be voting at in the future. All buildings with more than a Hundred Tenants are required by law to have a self contained Voting Station. So if we had waited until Election Day, we could have Voted in our building.

It was past 6:00 when we were leaving and there was a line up out the door at Dairy Queen so we headed for the Wendy’s location closer to home. Since we often eat there, when asked if we had a Coupon, I could only reply we haven’t gotten any since last Summer. When the Manager heard that, she entered a discount code that saved us Eight Dollars. We always treat them with Respect and they remember.

We got home on time to see the final Weather review on the 6 o’clock Local News. Since we’ve been getting lots of Below Seasonal Temperatures this Winter, we were very happy to see some Above Seasonal Temperatures heading our way starting next week.

We got some Computer time in before we watched “Chicago Med”, “Chicago Fire” and “Chicago P.D.”.

Not sure what tomorrow will bring.
