Wrapping Things Up.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

It wasn’t perfect but at least we slept last night. The first thing that Kathy had to do this morning, was to check her Blood Sugar Level and it came in at 8.1 probably due the Thin-Crust Pizza we shared yesterday.

After our Muffin and Yogurt Cups for breakfast we tried Peppermint Tea while on our Computers. Not something we’ll try again but we still have more to finish off. I tried tracking our On-Line Package but there was no change since Friday. They probably don’t work on the Weekends.

There were less people walking the Trail this morning, probably due to 5 F (-15 C) temperatures. Those that did, were dressed with heavier Coats than yesterday.

For lunch we settled for Veggie Wraps as a way of cleaning up Leftovers.

While Kathy went back to her Computer, I disappeared in the bedroom. I had brought the bag containing Gift Wrapping Supplies and was surprised to find a couple of pieces of Wrapping Paper cut to the size I needed, with Scotch Tape still attached. When the Tape easily came off, I tried using it for wrapping a few gifts myself. Of the Three different types of Tape we had, none would keep this Wrapping Paper together. I found another roll of Wrapping Paper to finish the task. At least now all the Gifts are under the Christmas Tree.

When I asked Kathy about the Wrap that could not be taped, she simply said she forgot to tell me about it. We’ll find a use for it.

Since our activity level was not high today, neither was our hunger, so we had Baked Beans on Toast for our supper, with a small dish of Frozen Yogurt with the remaining Blueberries from the Fridge.

I try to change things up once in a while, so instead of watching Hallmark Christmas Movies, we managed to watch “Santa Clause II”, then “Home Alone II” before finally seeing “Home Alone”. Though we’ve seen them before, they kept us laughing.

We won’t be sitting around tomorrow. Thankfully the temperatures will go Above Freezing but is forecasted to bring lots of Flurries with it.

Be Safe and Enjoy!
