And The Shelf Was Bare.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Again the cooler weather definitely added to our sleeping later this morning but not too late. Why not too late? Deep down inside even though we haven’t heard one way or another about the apartment being rented we want to continue making progress in preparation towards our Fulltiming Adventure.

As soon as breakfast was over we headed straight to the computers with our coffees in hand. However at that point I got sidetracked getting dressed and making the bed before getting back to my slightly cold coffee. Kathy had been writing a final list of phone calls for me to call at this time advising businesses and organizations of our new mailing address. She then got herself dressed and staged the bed before returning to the office to her equally cold coffee.

At this point neither of us stayed at the computers too long but started packing the books off the bookcase that will be going into our storage unit. By the time we stopped for lunch the books had been carefully stored in a clear storage box that will keep them free of dust and dampness. I’d also moved the bookshelf into the dining room and Kathy had hunted the last of the dust-bunnies that had hidden behind its location.

As soon as we’d finished doing the lunchtime dishes we were both back at the computers. Kathy finished making some address changes online while I finished those that had to be done over the phone.  At that point Kathy started looking at a few more locations that she hopes we’ll be able to visit when we head south this coming fall. I refocused myself at cleaning the last of the files from my old PC.

Since we’d made a good dent towards our goal this afternoon at 4:30 Kathy suggested going out for supper. We are not into outdoor walks when the temperatures and wind are cold so that would also give us a break from being inside all day. Using a gift card we’d received at Christmas and a coupon we were able to enjoy a reasonably priced filling meal at Swiss Chalet. We barely got home in time to see the weather forecast at the end of the 6 o’clock news but it was worth it.

Tomorrow we are hoping to make further progress towards our bid to start Fulltiming even sooner than we had hoped for. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
