Staying The Course.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

I did get a combined three hours of sleep last night so I was busy doing my morning reading long before 7:00. Kathy said that she slept like a rock last night and she even slept past 8:30 this morning. That is good but Kathy immediately started to panic because she had an 11:00 appointment. After having breakfast we did up the dishes and while Kathy did her morning reading I did up the bed.

Mary from Healthy Heals arrived right on time and was soon working on Kathy’s feet. Due to Kathy having Diabetes her feet can become easily infected so our health care provider covers the cost of in home care for her treatment. I continued working on remaking the new proto-type of our Blogger Contact Card in the office and listening to Kathy and Mary talk like old time friends. Mary once again found another nail trying to become ingrown and by the time she finished Kathy was already noticing a dramatic lessening of pain in her feet.

After a light lunch Kathy continued her travel research while I continued using Photo Shop on the contact card. This is not a job that you can rush doing but one that causes a lot of eye strain and tendinitis in your arm from using the mouse. Add that to not having had much sleep I had to take a number of walks around the apartment just to wake myself up.

Just before 4:30 the phone rang and our dear friend Pauline had arrived. She keeps herself so busy that it had taken a lot of planning just to set up this visit. However she barely stepped into the apartment while Kathy and I put our jackets on before we left. We drove over to the Michigan Diner on Manning Road to have supper. This gave us plenty of time to catch up on things going on in all our lives. Pauline insisted that she pay for our meal and we did appreciate it. From the moment she arrived the conversation never stopped for well over five hours. By the time Pauline left we’d already made plans for further get-togethers in the near future.

It rained on and off most of the day with twenty plus mile an hour winds. The temperature was comfortable but will start cooling down to seasonal average temperatures before the weekend. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. Once I got a laptop and began using the touch pad, no more tendonitis from the mouse, amazing how much better I feel.
