Severe Forecast.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

After having another wonderfully restful night’s sleep we were more than raring to go this morning. There were a few things that stopped us from getting too carried away however. The Weather Network as well as the local news channel both warned us against the severe weather that was heading our way and looking out the balcony door confirmed such a forecast.

We were also waiting for a visit from Mary the nurse from Healthy Heals who was scheduled to work on Kathy’s feet at our apartment. Because of that appointment I couldn’t just start working on projects on a tarp in the living room. Mary did call to say she was running late again due to the construction on the Expressway. When she did arrive Kathy and her were busy talking like old friends so I just busied myself getting more of the hard copied notes entered in the computer.

It was past 12:30 when she left so Kathy and I worked together to make lunch. Looking out the balcony door as we ate the Security lights were on in the parking lot because it was that dark outside from the cloud covering. When we’d finished eating Kathy went to catch up on her reading while I sorted clothes to do the laundry.

When I got downstairs I was quite surprised that there was only one other person down there considering this was a Monday. I made a few trips upstairs during the washing and drying in which time I got more notes copied. When I was folding the laundry downstairs the skies finally opened up with just enough moisture to dampen the asphalt. Even though the sky remained dark that was all the rain we got today.

For supper we had Perogies before sitting down to watch the 6 o’clock News. The weather guessers forecasted more of the severe weather we’d experienced today for this evening. I’m sure the local farmers will be looking forward to it and more. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. Hate those forecasts. Most have been wrong but those that have been right weren't fun.

  2. No severe weather here, just some rain showers, but still nice and warm out.
