Errands and Rain?

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Kathy had a very restful night’s sleep last night but for whatever reason I just couldn’t stay asleep. Even so I was up by 8:00 but it seemed that I was dragging an anchor around all day. We went through our morning ritual of having breakfast while watching the Weather Network. Again they forecasted severe thunderstorms for this afternoon even though the sun was shining brightly outside our balcony door. Continuing our morning routine we finished our coffees getting caught up on our computer reading. Later Kathy was in the mood to do some cooking this morning so while she was busy doing that I managed to make a considerable advancement in putting our hardcopy notes on to the computer.

Shortly after lunch we headed over to Green Shield our health care provider to drop off the forms from Happy Heals for Kathy’s in home foot treatment yesterday. Once we’d finished with that we went over to the Metro grocery store to purchase restock items that we were running low on or that we were completely out of. By the time we left there we’d spent almost half our monthly budget for food but we picked up a few extra items because they were on Sale

After getting everything put away at the apartment we both went back to what we had been doing before lunch. I did more work on the computer while Kathy baked a delicious Strawberry/Rhubarb pie. Around 5:00 I preheated the Weber Q while Kathy finished wrapping a strip of Spare Ribs that she’d marinated in foil. Turning the heat on the grill to medium low and turning the ribs half way through within forty minutes they were fall off the bone tasty.

Watching the local 6 o’clock News in Windsor the weatherman had to use an umbrella to broadcast from outside. Looking outside the balcony there were only a few raindrops that had hit the car and that barely left marks in the dust. So much for our big storm today! Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

What's the difference between a lawyer and a vampire?

A vampire only sucks blood at night.
