Getting Things Together.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Last night after posting the blog we started watching a movie on television that lasted past midnight. By that time Kathy was more than ready for bed but I still needed to take a shower. I should have taken my shower much earlier because showers tend to energize me. I finally made it to bed just after 1:30 but was lucky that it only took another ten minutes for me to fall asleep.

At 7:00 this morning my back started to tell me to get out of bed and surprisingly when I did I was once again fully energized. (I hope that happens when we leave on our southbound trip in 48 days.) Kathy commented before going to bed last night that she felt like she might be coming down with something because she felt achy all over. (She did get her Flu shot this last week and that could just be her body’s way of building its immunity to the vaccine.) She finally got up for breakfast after 9:00 feeling much better and not as achy.

While we were running our errands yesterday Henry’s Camera Shop called to say that our Sigma lens was back from repair and ready for pick up. So after having a light lunch of bagels we headed off to do a few more errands. At Henry’s Bill gave me some tips that could improve the way the camera focuses automatically.

On our return we stopped at Princess Auto to purchase a replacement bulb for the Third Brake light on the truck. Strangely they didn’t have that style of bulb so we headed over to Canadian Tire. They have a much more extensive selection of automotive parts but using the parts list on the shelf showed a bulb that would never have fit the socket. Kathy found some that looked the same as the burnt one so she just chose one randomly. I took the package to the parts desk and after a ten minute wait in line they looked the part up on the computer and it turned out to be the one Kathy had chosen not what was listed on the light shelf.`

Back at the apartment I had a few more files that I had to modify and create before printing them out for our upcoming travels. The temperature only got to the mid 40’s this afternoon for a high but with the wind and rain it only felt like the low 30’s. Tyler’s team didn’t play hockey today but will be back on the ice tomorrow. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
