Nothing's Simple.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario.

Last night Kathy could barely keep her eyes opened and struggled to stay awake through the 11 o’clock news. She only had one wakeful period throughout the night but otherwise she slept fairly solid. In fact she slept until nearly 9:00 before getting up to enjoy breakfast but said she felt much better than even yesterday morning.

Of course once breakfast was over we immediately headed to the computers to get all our reading complete. For the third time this week I managed to get back to exercising which is making me feel way better than I have for the last year and a half because of the Hernia. Once I was finished and had cooled we had our lunch before I headed to the shower to freshen up.

Kathy’s new computer has Windows 8.1 in it and has been giving her a lot of problems. So figuring that we’d take it back to SX Video in Essex where we bought it I decided to back-up the working spreadsheets that she keeps track of our expenditures and budget on. Using a fresh memory stick so it could be used on other computers while her laptop is away it went fast and easy. So I Thought! When I went to double check that the download was successful the only thing that had been saved was the titles of the files. By then Kathy was trying to get into her files on her computer and nothing was there. No matter what I did I couldn’t find those files either. When I went back to my computer Kathy finally was able to find the files intact after spending nearly a half hour looking for them herself. So much for a simple back-up.
Once I’d finally cleaned up we headed out to do some shopping and store walking for exercise. Even though we were stopping at multiple stores we had written everything we intended to buy on a shopping list so there is no impulse buying thus saving us money in the end. Stopping at Canadian Tire first we purchase one five thousand foot roll of Saran Wrap that fits in our dispenser and a jug of Rain X all season Window Cleaner.

Next we stopped at the Tecumseh Mall where at the Dollar Store we check more things off our list. Kathy then walked through the mall to the food court while I drove the truck around near Sobey’s grocery store. The reason Kathy waited for me at the food court was so we could use a coupon at A&W and have supper. Unfortunately the coupon was in my glass case that I had left sitting on the fridge at the apartment. Even though we paid more for the meal we saved on fuel costs because now we only had to walk into the grocery store. Once everything was checked off the shopping lists and we’d gotten our share of walking in we headed home to put everything away.

Since we were too late to watch the 6 o’clock News Kathy decided she’d watch a program that she really likes and guess what, it was pre-empted by a worldly special. Better luck next week! Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
