I’m Back.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Thank You to all who sent their well wishes for my speedy recovery and encouragement to Kathy who thought for sure that she had messed up the blog but can always come through in a pinch. She did do a great job!

Well it sure was not the first overnight stay in a hospital that I’ve ever had but there still is no place like home. No matter which way I tried to sit or lay there just doesn’t seem to be a comfortable position that someone with a four inch incision on their abdomen can find. I finally got out of bed the first time last night around 10:30 and faintly remember the nurse checking my vitals twice through the night. The surgeon was surprised to see me sitting in a chair doing crossword puzzles when he came in at 7:00. After a quick look he deemed me fit to go home with permission to slack-off until I see him in two weeks.

Someone else was surprised to see me totally dressed and packed when she walked through the door. Kathy said she kept waking every hour through the night and patting my side of the bed hoping that I’d miraculously appear. After I pushed the wheelchair containing my bags out the front door it didn’t take Kathy long to get me home. But each time I sit or lay down it seems I face a different challenge to getting up with the least amount of pain.

Earlier this week we had a problem with our internet provider shutting down our E-mail addresses. I managed to get everything running on Tuesday before my surgery yesterday. Would you believe they have just shut us down again!

Again Thanks for all those positive comments but now I have to call Bell again. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
