Thank You For Kathy’s Comments and Appointments Made.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

Why is it when you really don’t have to get up early you do? I was up by 7:00 so by the time I opened the Balcony Blinds Kathy was getting up to join me. When her eyes finally started to focus she was wondering why it was so dark in the Apartment since I hadn’t turned any lights on yet.

Our Muffins for breakfast were delicious. With our Hot Drinks at the Computers Kathy needed a blanket on her legs to keep warm as she was starting to feel the low setting on the heat. That is totally unlike her.

Kathy would like to Thank everyone for the words of encouragement and concern. The big learning curve is to learn to sneeze as if she were a child through her mouth so as not to open the wound for the time being.

It was minutes after 9:00 when I called to book her Follow Up Appointment with the Surgeon but could only leave a message. It was closer to 11:00 when the Receptionist called back with her appointment scheduled for the 8th.

Knowing she wasn’t very hungry but still needed to heal we had Chicken Noodle Soup for lunch with a Yogurt Cup for our dessert.

Another call was made to change our appointed Haircut times with Julia. They were made before the Surgery was scheduled.

Still feeling the affects of the surgery Kathy’s eyes closed while she attempted to read on the Computer.

I busied myself by cleaning the Dishestaking out the trash and recycle. The issue I had with the laxed muscle the other day was still haunting me so my workout was again post-phoned.

It felt good sitting in silence without the hype coming from the Television. I Finally got caught up on all our Blog Reading before it was time to make supper. Kathy wanted Open-Faced Grilled Cheese Sandwiches garnished with Olives. As she sipped on her Hot Chocolate with Marshmallows I prepped and served Yogurt Covered Grapes for dessert.

On the 6 o’clock Local News some Ontarians are protesting against the Mandatory Mask B-law as a way of helping to stop the spread of the Virus. Masks do protect both the wearer and others around but people just think it’s a control mechanism and the Virus is all “Fake News”. Tell that to the Families of all those who died from the Coronavirus. They say the numbers are inflated because the person had Underlying Health or a Compromised Immune System but that’s what helps the Virus find its next victim. Even healthy people are coming down with it because they are not following the Guidelines.

Kathy and I hope that all our American Readers, Friends and Family had a Safe and Happy Thanksgiving. Hopefully next year we’ll be able to get together with all our families.

We did watch one Hallmark Christmas Movie tonight. Kathy went to bed at 10:00 tonight.

Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

  2. I am glad Kathy is home and healing.

On CNN they had a gentleman from Ontario a few days ago warning the USA about taking precautions seriously as after their Canadian Thanksgiving Celebration Covid-19 cases shot up and they had to shut down the city of Ontario and the same could happen in my country.

My former hometown of Houston, Texas, and my dad's hometown of El Paso, Texas are having an unbelievable surge of Coronavirus cases.

I fear after talking to friends, neighbors, and acquaintances from Houston, Texas, and their lack of following CDC guidelines that in two weeks this is going to be out of control in Texas.

  3. Glad to read that your day has gone well....any surgery is an assault on the body, no matter the age or whatever. And anesthesia is another assault, though they've gotten that nailed down a lot better! So rest up. A grilled cheese with olives is a wonderful idea. I'm going to do that! Thanks.
