Setting Up, Exercising and Heat Advisory.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

When we moved into the Apartment back at the end of October we spent the first couple of nights tossing and turning due to the lack of Blinds along with the Street and Parking Lot Lights behind the building shining in. Since the temperature would be comfortable last night we left the Bedroom Window open and the Blind about a third way up. When we were travelling Kathy would often times wake up wondering where we were even if we had not moved in days. Throughout the night she repeatedly did the same thing even though this building hasn’t moved in Sixty Years.
Sitting with the Balcony Door open with a comfortable breeze keeping us cool Kathy was also shocked when she realized that we had finished eating our breakfast before 8:00 this morning. We had more time to spend getting all our Computer reading done before getting into our daily chores which included walking the Trash down the hall. Kathy also did more sorting this morning and added Three Pair of Dress Shoes to her Donation Bag. I removed the outside cover on our Sleeve Type Air Conditioner as well as getting it plugged in and set up. Having done Metal Fabrication most of my life I took the time to hammer the outside cover straight because it had bends where there shouldn’t be.
For lunch we had Grilled Cheese Sandwiches garnished with Olives then Cookies, Oranges and Yogurt Cups for dessert.

After lunch Kathy found a few more things to occupy some time before heading back to her Computer. I set up the Exercise Bench and enjoyed what to me was a cool breeze blowing in while I worked out. I managed to get Three Full Sets completed when Kathy who had been watching me thought she would try her luck. She actually lifted one of the Twenty-Five Pound Dumbbells twice and completed Two Leg Extensions before calling it a day.
For supper Kathy insisted I eat what I wanted so I had a Fried Egg on Toast Sandwich while she had a Chocolate Chipped Pancake. We were both satisfied with our choices and didn’t need any Snacks the rest of the night.
After watching the 6 o’clock Local News we checked more Blogs that had published before 8:00. We then watched a Tom Hank’s movie that lasted until 11:00. Tomorrow we’ll be going to our Storage Unit for a few things that will help us through our first Heat Advisory of the Spring. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. We also are under a heat advisory here in AJ. 111 for three days with lows in the mid 80s. I'm not real happy about that.

  2. Sometimes I wish we didn't know what the weather was going to be. I might feel better if I didn't know it was 105!!! LOL

  3. Maybe Kathy should start with 5 or 10 pound dumblells. 25 is way too much :) Stay cool...

  4. I'm with Nancy Kissack. I don't want to know how hot or cold it is...let my body tell me.

  5. Kathy can lift way more than I...my limit is 20 lbs...not of a dumbbell just regular ordinary things.

Wish we had a Donation Center here (downside of living in a small town) will have to wait until I take my mom to her doctor's appointment in San Antonio.

    Enjoy your heat wave.
