Even after the loss of sleep we had from Tuesday night I was up by 8:00 this morning and Kathy was up by 8:30. What is wrong with us we are Retired? Even with the Sun hidden behind a Cloud covered sky we had to dress as if we were in the middle of summer as we sat getting caught up on our morning reading.

When we were at the Hospital the other night we had thought the problem could be was Kidney Stones but with the Blood and Urine Test they were able to determine it was an Infection in the Bladder. When we returned for the Ultra Sound the Technician explained to Kathy what she was seeing on the screen and said that her Kidneys were in great shape but he pointed out the area in the Bladder that was Infected which verified what the Doctor had said. With only One Day’s worth of Antibiotics so far Kathy is starting to feel less pressure in her Kidneys. The Kidneys were feeling the pressure because the Bladder was not fully discharging what it should.

Around 11:30 we got a call from our Accountant saying our Income Tax Returns were ready. There were a lot of the Return Forms that were needed for these Taxes in the Missing Mail. Since we didn’t get it until Monday Kathy worked hard to get it organized so we could drop the Information off on Tuesday. With her organizing it the way she does they never have any problems to fill them in.

After having Chicken Noodle Soup for lunch and washing the Dishes we were once again heading out the door to run errands. Having seen the forecast of Rain for this afternoon we made certain we were dressed for it.
Out first stop was the Accountants Office where we were happy to see we didn’t have to pay our Government anymore of our earnings. The Accountants know how we travel and wanted to hear about some of this year’s adventures. When Kathy told them about the Rattlesnake passing by our Campfire the one night we were told that they wouldn’t be travelling like us. As soon as we paid our bill our returns were E-Filed.

We went to check if there was any mail for us at Guardian Storage. When I went in Carol asked if I could give some feedback on their New Employee that couldn’t find our Mail. She treated me fine but apparently others had complained about her lack of People Skills. I learned my People Skills as a Newspaper Delivery Boy then honed that throughout my career when I was selected by the Union and Company to present a Human Rights Course to members of the Local. There were many times I had to deal with employees that just thought the law was wrong. They’ll be keeping a closer eye on Kayla and hopefully she’ll improve.
We will be attending a family dinner on Easter Sunday at our daughter Karen’s house in Tecumseh and everyone brings things to add to the Menu. We stopped at the Super Store on Walker Road and found what we needed as well as some additional groceries. We were just about at the Checkout when Kathy decided she was going to add her Ambrosia dish as well but they didn’t have any Small Marshmallows.
The next closest grocery store was the Metro located at the Devonshire Mall on Howard Avenue. This new store was beautiful inside but they didn’t have the Small White Marshmallows that we needed.
We headed to the west side Walmart on Dougall Avenue. The place was packed because most stores will be closed tomorrow for Good Friday. We searched the section the should have been only to find an empty shelf. As we were walking towards the Exit there on the end of a counter were the Small Marshmallows we had been looking for.

By then it was past 4:30 and with all that walking the Soup we had for lunch was long gone. Kathy suggested going to Taco Bell for supper. We purchased a Crunch Wrap Slider Combo Box that we shared. By doing so meant we were still eating lite but had enough to satisfy our appetites.
Our Afternoon High but look at the Winds.
We barely got in the Car to head for Home when it started raining in earnest. There were Water Puddles all over as we got closer to McGregor. Just as we parked in front of the Trailer the Wind and Rain temporarily stopped long enough for us to get everything inside.

We are not sure what we’ll be doing tomorrow because it’s supposed to Rain all day. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. Happy Kathy is doing well that must have been quite scary. Seems these winds are everywhere. I for one have had enough.

  2. It's interesting that the weather is so different this year from the past four or five years. Hoping the rain stops soon!
Some people learn people skills from their parents .... most never learn them at all. Hopefully she will pick up something from the other employees.

  3. Nice to get those nasty taxes taken care of and nice that you don't owe any more! Glad Kathy is doing better and antibiotics are working for her!

  4. don't think it was necessary for Kathy to want you to comment unfavorably on the new employee. I always find that you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar, get what I mean?

  5. So glad Kathy is doing better. I was wondering when are taxes due in Canada? Do you have the option to file for an extension like we do in the USA?

  6. So glad that Kathy is feeling better. Amazing how those antibiotics can help so quickly. I am prone to UTI infections and carry antibiotics with me wherever we travel so at the first sign of pressure and pain I can start them.
