Knowing that the overnight temperature was going to be going down to 36 F (2 C) feeling like 27 F (-4 C) accompanied by nearly an Inch of Rain today not to mention what we’ll be getting the remainder of the week had a lot to do with our decision to getting back into the Park. Another reason was that I never added any Fresh Water to our Tank after we left Checotah KOA in Checotah Oklahoma on the 9th. Having been using Water from the Tank along the way to keep the weight down as well as the fact that it doesn’t hold that much we were starting to get low. Another thing was that with all the forecasted Rain was the lack of Sunlight to charge our Batteries having Electrical Power available would guarantee we would be able to use our CPAPs to sleep at night.
True to the Forecast when I got up this morning I made a dash to turn on the Electric Fireplace as well as our Blue Flame Heater. Then it didn’t take long to get things ready for breakfast before turning on my Computer. I’d barely checked the updated forecast on The Weather Network when Kathy started getting out of bed. She truly appreciated having Hot Cereal, Coffee and warmth from the Heaters to start her day.

We had nice hot bowl of Soup for lunch before heading out to pick up our Car. Every year we leave our Car with our son Kevin to exercise it by using it if he needs as well as keeping it secure. It will be nice for us to have it to run errands not just for the ease of parking in Tight Parking Lots but for its Fuel Economy. When you average Thirty Miles per gallon of Gasoline compared to Ten Miles with the Truck it is definitely something to consider.

We arrived at Kevin and Melissa’s in Amherstburg just before 1:00 only planning for a short visit. We were totally surprised how tall our grandson Matthew has gotten. The first thing Cameron did when he saw us was to thank us for the Birthday Presents we sent him in the Mail from Arizona (Wink). Melissa’s parents Al and Sal arrived in their new Ford Escape. They were impressed with ours so much that they traded in their Mini-Van for one.
Our Afternoon High
Back at Wildwood RV Park in McGregor we parked the Truck on our Seasonal Site because at the Transient Area there is only room for One Vehicle per site along with the RV. If we need it it is within a short walking distance.

Our daughter Karen called to invite us over for Pizza for supper and a chance to visit since we hadn’t stopped in yet. We waited until nearly 4:30 before heading out using the Car. It felt like I was driving a Go-Cart compared to the Truck.
Sanford is so excited the Camera cannot focus on him.
When we arrived at our daughter’s home in Tecumseh the first to meet us at the door was Sanford. He immediately went to fetch his torn up Blanket that we gave him as a puppy. When Kathy presented him with a new Chew Toy he was so excited his Tail was wagging that Dog so much there was no way for our Point and Shoot Camera to focus for good picture.

We had a wonderful visit with Karen and Greg along with grandson Tyler, granddaughter Kylla and boyfriend Cody. Besides hearing about what they did throughout the winter they wanted to know what had happen to the Truck. Poor Sanford looked the saddest of everyone when it was time for us to leave. He remembered our living in the basement last year while our Home on Wheels went back to the Factory. The Rain was starting to slow down by the time we got Home around 7:30.

Tomorrow we’ll be making an early phone call to Guardian Storage to find out where the rest of our Mail is. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!
