One Pixel At A Time.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Did we ever turn the tables around last night. My head barely hit the pillow last night and I was fast asleep. Kathy however started thinking of all kinds on unimportant things and couldn’t stop her mind from working for over two hours. I woke up feeling refreshed before 7:00 had completed my morning reading and had begun working on my photo editing before starting to make breakfast. Like magic the sound of the kettle turning off woke Kathy as it always does from her delayed sleep. She basically dragged her way through the beginning of the day.
The discolored and distorted Master.
While Kathy did her morning bookkeeping and blog reading I continued my chore of working on my Photo Editing our Blogger Contact Cards. As mentioned in the last couple of posts I wrote how I use Microsoft Excel to do a number of things such as creating business or contact cards. Our Contact Card is quite elaborate and consists of nearly two dozen components. In order to be able to make a sheet of ten contact cards at once you first have to make a Master where you place all the components on the card where you want them. Next you have to print the finished Master then scan it back to the computer as a picture. Unfortunately this will cause a pixel discoloring and distortion. This is where I use the Photo Editing to clean away this added discoloring and distortion one pixel at a time. This process took approximately twenty hours of eye straining work to create the final template. At this point it can then be loaded to the multi-card sheet without any loss of information.
The Master all cleaned and ready to use.
Everything on the card has a special meaning to us.
We were finally able to run a few errands after lunch. We picked up our winter supply of medications from Shoppers Drug Mart. They had it loaded in a box. Our next stop was to Green Shield to drop off Kathy’s claim form from Healthy Heals. Our third stop was the Credit Union to cash a cheque for $3.50 sent to me as a refund for one of the clothes dryers that didn’t work for me a while back. We were making such good time we chose to walk around the Dollar Store to get some exercise. It was getting close to supper time so our last stop was the Zehr’s grocery store to get a few things to tide us over for a while.

After having supper I started counting all our meds that I’d just picked up. The reason for that was last year I didn’t count them and Kathy almost ran out of her diabetes medication so now I count them each time we get refills. In the process of counting them I repackaged them in less than half the containers they had bottled them in. Like I’ve said before companies like to over package.

The weather guessers this evening are all in agreement that things are now going to get cold around here. We’ll just keep our fingers crossed it doesn’t get too cold. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

  1. Humm... why not just save the master you have created on the xcel sheet? Just click save and then save as... put a new name in that box and then DROP DOWN the bottom box to jpeg or jpg and then you have it all good!

  2. Seems like a long process ours only takes a few minutes done in office.
Hmm no address, email or phone number on your cards?
