Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.
Kathy was only awake for an hour and a half before she
finally fell asleep last night. I was asleep almost instantly and only woke
once long enough to roll over. I didn’t wake until nearly 7:30 this morning. For
the last few days as I watched the sunrise from the office I felt a sense of
encouragement as the sun would reflect off the distant clouds. Only to later have
that feeling dashed as the sun climbed higher into the sky to completely hide
from sight for the remainder of the day.
Reading yesterday’s comments I was given a trick to try
before I ever make another Contact Card and will hope that it works because if
it does it would save me lots of time in the future. Due to our going Fulltime
next spring I removed the word Tecumseh from the front of our cards. This left
only Ontario, Canada showing in the lower corner which should be considered as
our future address because we may not always be staying at the same parks when
we return to Canada and we could even change our mailing address without
affecting our contact cards. It was also mentioned that I should be listing
E-mail and telephone numbers. Since the front of our card is so busy that’s
what I have already been using the back of our card for. Addressing another comment it would be impossible to detail a picture to the extent I needed to in Photo Shop using the touch pad.
I mentioned the other day how I use Microsoft Excel for lots
of different things such as knowing that we have sufficient amounts of vitamins
and medication when we travel. After counting all the meds we received yesterday
to be certain we hadn’t been shortchanged I began making my entries in Excel
only to see that we’d still run short by seven capsules on one of Kathy’s medications.
After lunch Kathy and I went over to Shoppers Drug Mart and explained the
problem at the pharmacy desk. Twenty minutes later we were walking out with the
seven capsules making certain Kathy won’t fall short. Unfortunately that
particular store seldom sells their vitamins at sale prices so we drove over to
the Shoppers Drug Mart on Manning Road where I was able to get the last of the
vitamins to see us until the end of April.
The rest of the evening has been spent doing additional
research on the computers. The forecasted rain has arrived and should clear out
for tomorrow along with bringing colder temperatures. Thanks for
following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.

Easy
on the Ice!
We are very fortunate to have a refrigerator with
an icemaker here at the office. It would be nice if you didn't fill up your
gargantuan sports flask with ice every morning so the rest of us can have some
ice before the afternoon. Also, the ice basket has a scoop right next to it,
and it's there for a reason. Use it.

Another thing you could do, when you are done playing around with photo shop where you have your work just the way you want it... copy it back to excel into a cell and save as "jpg". Saving as a jpeg/jpg will give you a white background always. Now if you want a transparent background, then say the excel as a "gif" or "png" file. Saving as a transparent you could eventually take your card and put it in the header of your website or even your facebook page (if you have one).... you have a few more winter months to play and learn... enjoy!
ReplyDeleteMy, you are really organized. I like that. Hubby handles the medication situation. Gotta keep on his good side.....
